HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?
Do you have back pain? I have been in practice as a doctor of chiropractic for over 14 years and have treated patients from all over South Florida, from Florida City to Orlando. One thing that distinguishes me from other chiropractors is the amount of time I spend with my patients. I don't believe in the "mill" type practice, where some chiropractors try to cram as many patients as they can into the day and see patients for 3 minutes each.
I routinely spend up to 45 minutes (one on one) with my patients.
I also provide
home visits or house calls for patients that have a difficult schedule, their car was damaged in an
accident, or if they are in too much
pain to get into the office.
Also, I am trained and very knowledgeable on nutrition, fitness, and weight loss. As a bonus to all my patients, I will advise you accordingly, making any recommendations and even putting you on a plan so you can accomplish your goals. The billion dollar diet industry would be finished if the secret got out!

My practice is located in the Health Circle Family Medicine office in the Sunset Lakes Publix shopping center where I practice with Dr. Robert Tomchik, MD., a well respected and accomplished medical doctor, if patients require more than just alternative therapies. Although my specialty includes all trauma, particularly
automobile related whiplash injuries, I see patients with various complaints. For example:

Our office accepts all PIP and all PPO coverages. We offer affordable cash plans as well, for those who don't have coverage.
Everything that we do in our clinic is tailored specifically to you, the patient. The chiropractic treatments are painless, and actually feel good. We use state of the art physical therapy modalities which are provided by the doctor, not a therapist, or chiropractic/medical assistant. There is no other chiropractor in South Florida who spends the time, and cares for patients as Dr. Himmel does.
BACKGROUND OF DR. HIMMEL:
Dr. Himmel has been licensed and has been practicing since 1995. "I have practiced in Miami, Homestead, Naranja, and Orlando. Since moving from Dade County to Miramar, I have been the only chiropractor that is located west of I-75 on Miramar Parkway. However, my office draws patients from Miami to Orlando.
Dr. Alan Himmel is a Florida Native. In 1990, he received a Bachelors degree in biological sciences from the University of South Florida, and in 1995, received a professional
Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University, in Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Himmel is also a board member of a non-profit organization called Share International Foundation

Cystic Fibrosis research, and proudly co-authored two published research articles which outlines a revolutionary new treatment for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers.
Additionally,
Dr. Himmel is the president of Florida Allstar Public Adjusting, Inc. This is a public insurance adjusting firm, where he represents people against their insurance companies for homeowners and commercial insurance claims. He is licensed and bonded in the state of Florida to help his clients resolve tough insurance claims. (
